Alexander Caicedo is an Electronic Engineer (2004) with a master in Control of Biotechnological processes (2007) From Universidad de Ibagué in Colombia. He obtained his PhD degree in Engineering at the KU Leuven, Belgium, in 2013. Afterwards, he was a postdoctoral fellow, at the same university, until April 2018. From July 2018, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia. His research is focused in the study and development of signal processing techniques to monitor the neonatal brain development, as well as the development of machine learning techniques for signal analysis.
